Emergency Dentist for Sugar Land Families

From Sugar Land, the Southwest Freeway is the natural route: get on I-69/US-59 northbound near Sugar Land Town Square, pass Beltway 8 and take the Bissonnet St exit. Our office is about half a mile from that ramp. The trip from 77478 and 77479 runs roughly 22 minutes, so it is worth planning around weekday morning and evening traffic.

Sugar Land patients tend to look for two things: a Saturday appointment and an office that can handle extractions in-house. Extractions, urgent wisdom tooth removal and IV sedation (adults) are available in our office, provided by general dentists, and Dr. Amir Mofid, who founded the practice, concentrates on implants and full-arch work if a damaged tooth needs replacing later. The practice has more than 1,000 five-star Google reviews, which can be reassuring when you choose a dentist farther from home.

Everything we treat in an emergency

Toothaches, swelling, broken or knocked-out teeth, lost crowns, denture repairs and same-day extractions — see the full emergency guide.

When to come in from Sugar Land.

  • Saturday 8:00 AM–3:00 PM when you'd rather not take a weekday off; we are closed Sunday.
  • Phone first — the 22-minute drive is easier with a confirmed same-day opening.
  • For complex extractions or wisdom teeth, because our office performs oral surgery and offers IV sedation.

Local questions

Sugar Land emergency questions.

What can you treat in-house that might otherwise need a referral?
We provide oral surgery, urgent extractions including wisdom teeth, and IV sedation in our own office, supported by digital X-rays and CBCT 3D imaging. That means many complex emergencies can be evaluated and treated in one place. If a tooth is lost, implant planning with Dr. Amir Mofid can follow once the area has healed.
Can I come on a Saturday from Sugar Land?
Yes. We are open Saturday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, as well as weekdays from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and closed on Sunday. Because the drive is about 22 minutes, please call (832) 831-9101 before you get on the freeway to confirm an opening and avoid a long wait.
How long will I be at the office?
It depends on the problem. A focused exam with X-rays is usually the shortest visit, while extractions, and especially procedures under IV sedation, take longer. If you receive IV sedation, plan for an adult to drive you back to Sugar Land, because you should not drive yourself afterward.
