Can a painful wisdom tooth be removed the same day?

Often, yes. After an exam and imaging, which may include our in-office CBCT 3D scan, the dentist decides whether the tooth can be safely extracted at that visit. Oral surgery and IV sedation are available in-house, so a complicated wisdom tooth usually does not mean a referral to another office.
